Neopets Metaverse Official Project Roadmap & Completed Milestones
Note: This roadmap is periodically updated.
We are working hard to refine specifics on gameplay and blockchain design. Once details are confirmed, we will release additional information. For now, the team is actively working with our community and advisors by gathering feedback and incorporating it into our existing plans.
We are excited to bring our vision to life, and we invite fellow Neopians and creatives of old and new to join us on this exciting journey!
We launched our Invite-Only Alpha in 3Q22. In 4Q22, we ushered minor updates with our Invite-Only Alpha+ and our Alpha: Winter Edition launch — both Alpha launches were desktop browser-based. In 2Q23 will usher our Alpha 3 Launch, followed by our Alpha 4 Launch in 3Q23 and finally our Beta Launch in 1Q24, complete with mobile versions of the game.
Currently, we have decided to proceed with desktop browser-based and mobile versions of the game as the game performance was tested to be the best on these very platforms.
Roadmap Timeline
- Primary Neopets Metaverse Collection: Launch of the Neopets Metaverse Collection, minting over 4000+, our uniquely generated, loveable Neopets on the Solana blockchain. ✅
- Listing on major marketplaces: Magic Eden, Solanart, Solsea (Fractal listed later) ✅
- Game Visuals Sneak Peek: Provide the first look at 3D game models and design concepts. ✅
- Introduction to Gameplay and Web3 elements: Introduce the basic gameplay and its related in-game blockchain elements. ✅
- Seed Round Funding ✅
- Pizzaroo's Unique Pizzas: Launch 5,000 unique Neopets-inspired pizzas on Solana, ranging from the most appetizing and scrumptious-looking to just downright weird! ✅
- Launch of Invite-Only Alpha: an exclusive invite-only multi-week game event open to players with the opportunity to explore parts of the Neopets Metaverse for the first time through 6 nostalgia-invoking experiences created by the Neopets Metaverse Team. ✅
- Note: For our NFT holders and community members with priority access | Desktop Browser-based Game.
- Launch of Ambassador Program: provide some of our community's most helpful, dedicated members with a pathway to assist in some key areas of the project. ✅
- Release of Litepaper: Detailing the game, Web3 Integrations, tokenomics, and more. ✅
- Mint of Masterpiece Collection: a collection of 1,000 unique and one-of-a-kind artworks to decorate your Neopets' Neohome. ✅
- Launch of Invite-Only Alpha+: Follow-up update to our Invite-Only Alpha from 3Q22. ✅
- Note: For our NFT holders, community members with priority access, incl. previously registered users from our Invite-Only Alpha | Desktop Browser-based Game.
- Alpha Winter Edition Launch: New game features, including a new Land known as Terror Mountain, new Neopets species, and new mini-games. ✅

- Introduction of new Neopets species and items.
2Q23
- Alpha 3 Launch: All on-chain features introduced, wallet sign-in, recognizing our NFT collections, etc.
- Note: For our NFT holders, community members with priority access, incl. previously registered users from our Invite-Only Alpha+ (TBC - more details pending).
- Token Offering: Initial Metaverse Offering (IMO).
- Market conditions dependent (TBD)
- Alpha 4 Launch: Final Alpha with all features introduced and developed gameplay, including the introduction of 3x3 battle gameplay and other SocialFi features.

- Primary Land Collection: Launch of land plots in Neopia.
Major updates on a quarterly basis include but are not limited to:
- Beta Launch: Full public launch in 1Q24 (more details pending).
- Mobile version of the game will be released concurrently with our Beta release.
- Introduction of new features (such as the Land system).
- Introduction of new Neopets species and items.
- Introduction of new maps and land plots.
- Introduction of mini-games and other gameplay elements.
